OUR DREAM

Incredible Atmosphere.

Built-in 1888 as America's first, Indianapolis's Historic Union Station sits on the National Register of Historic Places and is a symbol of history and architecture in Indianapolis. From its vaulted ceilings and massive stained glass windows to its 13,000-foot ballroom and marbled stairways, Union Station's architecture and history make for an incredible venue like no other.

Three-Course Dinner.

Included with the price of your ticket is a full, three-course, formal dinner served by waiters.  The dinner is an opportunity to talk to all the teens at your spacious table that seats eight.  Some students and co-ops will rent a table for their group, however, many students sit where there is a spot and end up meeting many new friends! The dinner lasts for one hour, and each course is served separately to give you the full formal dining experience.

Traditional Dancing.

The amazingly fun, traditional dancing is one of the many reasons the Heartland Homeschool Prom has students traveling from 8 different states across the Midwest! What's so fun about traditional dancing? The answer that HHP attendees will give you is "Everything!". Our traditional dancing ranges from the Virginia Reel to different polkas--no dancing experience required! We have a professional caller there to walk you through all the dances!

Building Friendships.

Our underlying dream behind the Heartland Homeschool Prom was to build friendships within and throughout the homeschool community in Indiana and beyond. For one day a year, homeschooled high schoolers from all different parts of the Midwest, come together to celebrate our community, their accomplishments, and what lies ahead! As we plan for this next year's prom, our fervent prayer is that your prom memories will be some of the sweetest of your life...
